Details on the images above...

Pictures #1 - #4. We designed and built this particular conservatory in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, for homeowners who wanted to have a bright, sunny space off their dining room that they could use at least three seasons. They never used the deck that had been there originally because the bugs would bother them or it was too cold or too hot. Read more here.

Pictures #5 - #8. The original house was a very long L-shaped ranch with a very small dark kitchen, a family room that was hard to access, and a room off the dining room that didn’t seem to serve any purpose.  We expanded the existing footprint in two directions to allow a more open floor plan, added a new dining room space open to the kitchen, and a large living room open to the kitchen and dining room with a fieldstone fireplace. You can see the kitchen in our kitchen renovation portfolio (the first four pictures)

Pictures #9 - #18. This room was originally a screened-in porch that the homeowners used for year-round outdoor grilling. They wanted to finish off the screen porch for additional/unique living space and add a "grilling porch" that would shield them from the wind and rain but still be open enough to allow good air circulation for grilling. This new sunroom features sidelights, transoms, and doors from the Andersen Frenchwood series and oil rubbed bronze hardware. We removed the original inside stop and replaced it with custom-made molding that would accommodate the thickness of the stained glass and blend with the rest of the door. The striking stained glass was custom made by a local artisan. The blue floor tile is custom made by hand as well. Click here to see the grilling porch.
